Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information peeklisting.com (the "Site"), operated by Scott Allen, an individual doing business as Peek ("Peek," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Site is a demonstration and informational property; it does not currently offer user accounts, paid services, or upload functionality, and this policy reflects that scope.
1. Information we collect
We try to collect as little information as possible. Specifically:
- Server logs. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare automatically logs standard request information for each visit, including IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp. These logs are retained on Cloudflare's infrastructure subject to Cloudflare's own retention policies and are used for operational and security purposes (e.g., detecting abuse, diagnosing errors).
- Video delivery. Sample videos are served from a content-delivery subdomain (videos.peeklisting.com). Loading a video produces standard delivery logs comparable to those described above.
- Third-party fonts. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google's font service receives your IP address and user-agent when a font is requested. We do not control Google's processing of that data; see Google's privacy documentation for details.
- Email correspondence. If you contact us at [email protected] (or any other Peek address), we receive your email address, message contents, and any other information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to you.
We do not use cookies for tracking, do not run analytics scripts on the Site, and do not embed advertising or social-media trackers. We do not require an account to view the Site.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, security incidents, or technical problems.
- Respond to inquiries you send us.
- Comply with applicable law.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Service providers
We rely on a small set of service providers to operate the Site:
- Cloudflare – hosting, DNS, and CDN.
- Google Fonts – typeface delivery (passive; no account or sign-in).
- Google Workspace – inbound and outbound email for [email protected] and related addresses.
These providers process limited information on our behalf, subject to their own privacy practices.
4. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
5. Your choices and rights
You can choose not to provide information by not contacting us and by using browser-level controls (e.g., blocking third-party fonts) if you prefer not to load Google Fonts.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, subject to legal limits. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request" and we will respond within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days.
California residents
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), including the right to know what personal information we hold, the right to deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Because Peek does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no "Do Not Sell or Share" link is provided. To exercise any applicable right, contact us as described above.
Residents of other U.S. states
Residents of states with comparable privacy laws (including but not limited to Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) may have rights similar to those described above. Contact us using the channel above to exercise any applicable rights.
Residents outside the United States
The Site is operated from the United States and is directed primarily at U.S. users. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you acknowledge that any information collected (as described above) will be processed in the United States, which may have data-protection rules different from those in your jurisdiction.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we collect. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected on the Site for a reasonable period before they take effect.
8. Contact
